World of Eldwnor

Here lies the lands of Eldwnor, the stage upon which "Thunder before White Fire" is set. Not much is known about the past of these lands, the past which lies in a time before what the people call the Unending War; called such for no one knows when or why is started. All they know is how it came to end. These lands are made up of four countries, which are in turn separated into two sides.

Dainorn and Galnorn are the Two Kingdoms, each ruled by a royal family and formerly the two who fought the Unending War. Now at peace with one another, they face attacks from those who are jealous of the longevity of the Two Kingdoms population, which was the sole true benefit they got from the war.

Ankral and Krindir are the Two Nations, each ruled by a group of elected officials, though the system is anything but democratic. These two countries isolated themselves from Dainorn and Galnorn for the entire duration of the Unending War, however long it was. When the war ended and the now increased lifespans of those countries' people was revealed, they turned on them out of jealousy and fear. This new conflict still continues, even now a full millennia after the previous war ended.

This setting of tension, prejudice, and deep flowing secrets is the canvas upon which the characters are cast.
